| Distinct lack of leadership now taking its toll now, Barry McD always gives applause for effort but at the end of the day whether you lose by 40 or 1 point it’s zero match winning points.
Twice in 3 seasons they look a club in decline and can’t see anything on the horizon to improve a struggling end of an era team.

| I agree wholeheartedly that McDermott has never received the credit he's due from some fans for the success under his tenure. 2017 proved he could win the comp without Sinfield and Peacock, who according to some were the ones actually coaching the side. Hopefully he'll be remembered more positively with the benefit of a few years distance from the club.
Where I differ from other fans is that I don't think you can have it both ways - if McDermott deserves credit for all the wins, he is equally responsible for the bad stuff as well. Whilst injuries have caused us problems this year and 2016, they and the other excuses trotted out can't explain week after week of awful performances.
Regardless, I agree McDermott needs to move on before Leeds slide ever more towards mediocrity.

| Here we go, let me get this right. Unless Leeds are winning grand finals, lls, and cc finals every year, your calling for his head. [sizePATHETIC!![/size Get a grip, get a grip I say.

| I wonder if Hetherington will suddenly realise the m8s is a bad idea if Leeds end up in them again.

Castleford are taking a depleted squad over to Catalan so I can see Catalan turning them over in the south of France and Hudds should beat KR on current form which will leave Leeds in the bottom 4 come the end of this round should they not win tonight with 4 games remaining to the split.
I called it a few month back, I think Leeds will be in the bottom 4 come the split.'"
hull kr will beat hudds and cas have been winning for weeks with a depleted squad so wouldn't rule out them taking the 2 points

Everyone at the Catalans game was talking about how Cas deliberately threw the GF so Leeds would keep BM for another season at least.

No they wont, Hudds will beat Hull KR.
Catalan on home soil have a good chance of winning.

Could you imagine if two or three more go down with injury during the middle 8s and they have a poor start then have to face some of the tougher fixtures low on confidence? They could go down

Leeds would walk the 8's as they did in 2016.
I do wonder however that if involved & they lost their opening 2 games if there would be a sudden announcement about restructure ?
I think if Leigh had not gone down to 12 men early in their CC clash then it would have been a very closely fought battle & it seems that Leeds just do not hold the fear card they once had.

We were undefeated in the first ever m8s. A year later, with a better team (on paper) but a bad run of injuries, we were relegated. ANYTHING is possible.

Maybe. We have named the stongest 19 we've seen in 2 or 3 months with a lot of our key injured players returning. Hudds still have talisman-penalty-machine-diva Brough still suspended. I'm not stating we will win, only that we are heading back to full strength for the first time in months.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy coming over for this important game for both clubs with Hudds apparently nailed on to win it. Oh hang on, Hudds supporters don't do away games do they?

Well i`m not a Huddersfield fan so no I wont be coming lol and yes there away support is poor. I think even with your strongest squad Hudds will be too strong for you tonight.
