| Nice to hope for but probably not.
Toulouse made clear it’s a long game for them. So see it more that last year allowed them to establish in the Championship, this years target is probably as a minimum top 4, learn and then push next year.
Broncos have to somehow avoid injury to key players, as squad of recognised names are thin. Number of very good kids coming through (at least into a winning structure unlike seasons of yore) but relying on them would at this stage be too much of an ask.
Unless there are a couple of really weak SL teams it’s unlikely, one or either of the two are promoted.

100% agreed, along with Montreal and Florida 2 years after that.

All this “New York will be a Championship club in 2019” was a total pipe dream. It is nowhere near that being a reality.
As for London and Toulouse; with Catalans looking a certainty to get relegated this year it is quite conceivable that one could very well replace them.

| Unlikely, but never say never.
Can you imagine the look on the faces of the dinosaurs if both were to get promoted

No, I was referring to Toulouse as well you now Bazza.
What were your thoughts on the "nul point" at Perpignan at the weekend, or did you not make to to the game.......surely with TOO LOOSE not playing in the cup you would have made the short trip to see the Wire?

| When are the number of teams in Super League 2018 going to be confirmed? We’re approaching 1/3 of the way through the regular season (rounds 1-23) and still don’t know what clubs will be playing for in the Super 8’s competition.
I think Toronto will gain promotion whether we stay at 12 or increase to 14.
London and Toulouse will have a chance if Super League is expanded to 14 clubs. I believe this should and will happen.

Not a chance......they are a team of individuals who when faced with an organised professional side fell apart......once they get "home" to Toronto they will lose 5 of 6 players to the bright lights and legal hookers..........London are the #1 side in the 2nd tier....the scoreboard never lies and Toronto are 29-16 side....London are 45-13.....Toulouse and Toronto have both shat their pants when faced with a strong side......

| Toronto had some disruption to the start the season, losing 3 Super League quality forwards, for disciplinary reasons.
While this has made their start to the season slower than expected (although they are still only 1 point behind the league leaders) it will pay dividends in the long run, as a maker has been set, that only the highest professional standards will be acceptable at the club.
Only a fool would bet against Toronto finishing top, and they will have no problem dispatching Super League opposition, as we are likley to see in the Challenge Cup.

Yeah, they'd be certain top 8 if they were in SL and will have no problem dispatching any SL team in the Cup.

think you'll find it was more about hookers and the salary cap..........ad the hookers didn't have a "9" on their backs.....
