No, not at all. It was a simple observation that Hull FC will have turned a profit by selling packages to existing fans....a good move but most certainly not a long term viable strategy.

Expecting and getting are 2 very different things. IL claimed 5k making the trip was the target......any noises from the club about that target being hit?

It’s 5,000 fans from outside of NSW not just Wigan - www.hullfc.com/news/2017-07-26-h ... -next-year
Don’t believe everything you read especially from Gutterfax.
We (allegedly) took 4,500 to Sydney in 2014 (think it was actually probably half than that) but 5,000 non-NSW natives is probably an easy target. |

HOW MANY TIMES?????
£20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000.
The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.
There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them.
