| It would be terrible if Sale lost any central funding for him no longer being part of England's plans.
All that expense for a greedy player with no morals (I'm talking about his Cas contract here).
No sympathy whatsoever

Is he really that good. Greg Eden has proved that on that wing you just need to be reasonably quick and play to the plan and the tries will flow. Not slagging Greg off as I like the kid but there are a raft of wingers in the league that would get 30+ tries in that team.
Put him in another SL team and he'd be no better than the likes of Broughton, Briscoe etc and no were near Ryan Hall.

He played pretty well in a extremely below par London team. So he can't be too bad.

Doesn't that confirm barham red's point really? Playing pretty well in a poor team?

| He was also in SL not the NRL, so he can't be that good either if we're being honest.

Would you say the same about Graham, Burgess, plus other UK players if they hadn't played in the NRL and ripped it apart.

| I think Solomona is a genuine talent and a better player than Eden even if the latter has also proved very effective on the Cas wing. The RU incident is typical of what happens when motivation is purely financial: Solomona clearly cares not a fig about England RU but plays jack-the-lad now he's being paid £300k plus at an immature age.

Great wingers are ten a penny in League.
But England RU can't develop squat so they have to take foreign players or from RL.

'Team culture issues', not cultural issues regarding heritage

| wire-quin - I would about Burgess, Graham I wasn't completely sold on before he came to the NRL. The reality is there are probably 20 better wingers than him in the NRL. Quite possibly 3 or 4 in SL at least as good as well.

Must admit that comment surprised me too. Looking at the RL Hall of Fame there are 6 wingers in there. 2 were Aussies, 3 were from rugby union and 1 English (the late Mick Sullivan). I suspect to use of the word "great" was rather loosely used, in lieu of 'reasonable' I suspect.
