| Saints have shut down Cas's left hand side quickly all night and they've just looked like they have no idea what to do if that shift play doesn't come off.

| For me it looks like the week off has benefited the one team and not the other.

| Great performance by Saints. Goes to show they are a team to watch for rest of season.
Doesn't matter too much for Cas as it just delays the inevitable. However it is a little worrying our attack struggled on our home turf where we average over 30 points a game. Just hoping once we get Webster, Eden and Moors back, we get back to playing how we did at start of season. If not we will be settling for LLS and getting beat on home soil in play offs.

Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_10174.png |

| Tonight just confirmed what I have thought for a few months now, about both teams.

| The cas crumble has started. Wouldn't be surprised at all to see saints in the GF. They're not great in attack but their defence is very strong
Should be a good game against Hull next week

| 2 Games in a row Saints have been white hot.
They are a decent bet for the Grand Final.

Did Hull crumble after getting beat 45-0 @ Magic?
Did Hull crumble after losing 3 games in a row?
Did Cas crumble after losing to Salford?
Did Cas crumble after losing twice to Hull?
It was a loss, Saints were fantastic last night i thought, I also thought we (Cas) were poor and looked a yard off the pace, maybe that was because of the little break (Saints look to have handled that better).
What it doesnt mean is Cas are crumbling, teams lose. And in the long run, this might actually benefit us, as much as winning every game is nice, losing some tight games gives as much experience as winning tight games.

They've still got Barba to come into the side as well.

| For me Cas looked to have no energy. Maybe the week off had the reverse effect. Saints were fantastic and predicted everything from the Powell's attacking tactics but the attack was in slow motion at times.

| Thought Saints stopped us playing and was really impressed with them defensively.
I thought Cas' biggest problem was that Roberts had a poor game (which doesn't happen very often). As a result, our right edge was poor and Saints nullified our left edge.
I do think Cas also need to get a bit smarter in the ruck. Other teams seem to be better at playing the referee than we do and earning penalties. Having said that our discipline was poor last night and good teams punish us.
As for the rest of the year, one game doesn't define a season until grand final time. At the moment, Cas sit clear at the top of the table and one loss doesn't mean the LLS is gone. Every team in the league would still swap league positions with us. However, any team making the top 4 has a chance of getting to and winning the grand final.

| Lovely stuff by Saints that - it may well be that their new coach has finally figured out the Cas method; shut down that big shift to the left edge, and they look significantly less impressive.
And I'm not sure what brought Roby back to life - but he was outstanding.

You won the penalty count 10-7?

| Not sure how losing your first game in 13 against a team who is on fire is the start of the Cas crumble. If we lose our next 2 fair enough. Fans just finding reasons to have a go at the little club doing big things.
