| I expected a far heavier defeat tonight so am relatively content. Listening to others talk about a significant win and toughest game so far against a team missing 60% of its starting 13 gives me confidence for the season ahead (he says hoping some of those players might return sometime soon).

| Hicks tried his best for Wigan, he might as well have been wearing a Wigan shirt!
What Wane should be disappointed in with that Eden intercept is only 2 players bothered to even try and chase him down. That was just lazy.

Can only play what's in front of you. Cas beat you with half their team missing in the 8's last year - all swings and roundabout isn't it.

Really? Thought he actually kept himself low key tonight. Plenty of games where the ref looks like he's favouring a team. This wasn't one of them.

| Good win for us. As much as Wigan's first-choice backs were absent, their forwards were out fought and out muscled (bar Tautai).
Whist Williams is clearly talented, Leuluai was extremely poor. He was simply a passenger. At least Smith gave them some organisation and a decent kicking game.
Although Tautai was good, the likes of Hardaker, Gale, Robets, McShane and Moors were head and shoulders above their Wigan counterparts.
However, prizes are not given out in April. Wigan will be challenging towards the end of the year and beating them in big games is a different proposition.

I agree. Aside from the first 20 I didn't really notice him - thought he might have needed a new pea for his whistle by half time the way it was going.

Yes,but you would have to score 3 times to win. So 3 scores the difference.

I assume you were one of the supporters performing the Wigan Walk. Castleford scored again when you had already left the ground to beat the traffic.
Two tries, even if both were converted, would have made the score 22-27.

Agree with the above, although I think leluluai was pretty solid apart from his shocking kicking, I didn't think he could come back from NZ a worse kicker than when he left, he has!
I'm content with a WCC win, and 3 losses on the bounce, there was always going to be a dip. If we manage to get everyone fit we will be in the mix, no doubt about that.

| Wigans tactic of passing the ball into touch every set was equally as baffling.

An arrogant Wigan fan a few days before we stuffed them 18-4 at the JJB.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_42181.jpg |

| I get Wigan has injuries. Cas had 2 monster players missing too. So if Wigan fans are happy losing 27 10 to Cas in their own back yard then so be it. Let them have their "happiness" . Personally I'm chuffed with our defence, game management and I agree with printer, Chase isn't needed but is an added luxury. Attitude huge for our next game.

I don't deny any of that, simply commenting on how I felt about the game.

Why you're trying to argue this is honestly so weird.
I said Cas only scored 2 tries more than us. That is a simple fact that even Yorkshire-educated folk can understand.
