Coz you are arguing McGuire didn't score as many try's as Les in 04. When he clearly did.

It is already there. As I said, all player stats exclude play-offs.

He did if you include play-off games which the RFL and Super League records don't. Please see previous links for clarification.

Clearly not, otherwise we wouldnt know that the record number of tries scored in an SL season is 38, shared by Danny McGuire and Lesley Vianakolo.
I'd have some sympathy with your viewpoint if the game had had a consistent structure. I cant see any reason why we would ignore the play-off games and then compare seasons of a different length.

| Think he would be there already if it wasn't for a few games missed through injury and a few games playing at full-back due to Dorn getting injured.
If I remember rightly, McGuire and Vainakolo were ever present in their respective teams.

| McGuire missed a few - including a 64 point hammering of Cas, who he used to score regularly against.

Surely Super League records are for each Super League season are they not?
Or are you saying that any tries/Goals scored in vital play off games or even grand finals for that matter are deemed irrelevant in that seasons record books?
I think you are clearly getting confused by Vainikolo's record in 2004 of being the highest Regular season try scorer
38 tries Danny McGuire (Leeds) Super League IX 2004
38 tries Lesley Vainikolo (Bradford) Super League IX 2004
34 tries Josh Charnley (Wigan) Super League XVIII 2013
34 tries Joel Monaghan (Warrington) Super League XIX 2014
32 tries Lesley Vainikolo (Bradford) Super League X 2005
32 tries Josh Charnley (Wigan) Super League XVII 2012

| Martin Offiah averaged 45 tries a season while at Widnes and I would imagine more when he went to Wigan.
I don't see how records only start in 1996.

Agreed, this disregard of 100 years of history is rather disgusting and pretty much instigated by the Sky team. Apart from a tweaking of the season (to summer) and how players are paid there is no justification for records referring back to 1996 only.

The clue is [i[size super league record.[/size[/i
Before you get your knickers in a twist, no is saying records started in 96. Otherwise they'd have talked about all time records, and proceeded to only talk about super league.
No different in football to talking about premier league top goal scorers etc.
