Right but my point was what is your reason for bringing this up? Your original post seems to suggest that it is a negative and I'm just saying that it isn't necessarily.

You say hard to think of one and then list the top clubs and saying they rely on overseas players so you're basically saying they wouldn't do anything without overseas players so you weren't just wondering were you, you were just being cynical and coming up with another way of putting down super league. Its about time someone was positive on here.

It depends what kind of overseas players that are here. If they're of good quality then that's good for the league. If they're average it just reduces the game time of British/French players, limits their development and limits the amount of effort clubs put in to developing players.

There has to be a balance. We can't just get rid of all overseas players because we'd lose too much quality from the league. We should have a steady reduction in overseas players over a number of years. Which is what was envisaged when the Non-Fed Trained rules came along. But for some reason the RFL wet themselves and changed the plan.

Every SL team can possibly win games without foreign players. It simply depends on who they are playing and how much they are up for the fight.

With old Kirmo and even older Finn scoring all our winning points I'd say point proven.
