| The scoreline flatters Salford. Bradford utterly dominated them. Some of Bradfords play was simply a joy to watch and I hope they get promoted. Im a saints fan and dont really know many of their players but I went to watch and thought the likes of Danny Addy, the fullback and their 13 wouldnt look out of place in a good super league team

| Really put a spanner in the works this result. Just took the current league table and predicted the remaining fixtures and came out with HKR on 12 points and Wak on 10 points, Widnes on 9, with Salford at home to Bradford in playoff final. What a game that would be!
Surprised myself with this but think Wakey have favourable fixtures with having HKR after cup final and Widnes at home. The games between Bradford, Widnes and Leigh are gonna be the most critical IMO.
If you're interested I had Bradford and Widnes drawing, Leigh beating Bradford and Widnes beating Leigh

einstien said insanity is when a person does the same thing over and over again but expects a different result: |

Everyone keeps saying Wakefield got a favourable draw playing us after the cup final but surely Widnes had the better deal playing us the week before when we rested half our team and played them at there place and we still won

| I thought Fax may have had a big say in forthcoming events however, today's loss could have ripped the guts out of their campaign.
After last week’s capitulation from Bradford, maybe Salford thought they just had to turn up, when in reality Bradford are so much better than what they served up last week.
The general consensus appeared to be the play-off game would be contested by Bradford / Leigh / Wakefield but now there’s a couple of additional S.L clubs feeling a little twitchy.
Super 8’s is so predictable, the middle eight’s is the place to be, the quality may be down, but the excitement is far greater.

| I just think that with all wakefields new players the 2 weeks off will allow them to get a cohesive team structure together. With today's win its very likely you'll be in the top 3 regardless of what happens in that match hence why I wouldn't be surprised to see your boys have an off week after (rightly) all your focus being on the cup final . If you win it though it would put Wakefield right back in the mix!
You're right though, I wouldn't have had you winning today but having watched the game online your defence was phenomenal - if you'd defended like that all season you'd currently be sat in the top 4!

I think Hull KR away always looked the toughest of our 7 fixtures....if I could have hand picked a date to play it is the date we have got....a cup final is sure to take a lot out of any team....we on the other hand can rest those who may have picked up a knock and have two weeks to prepare for the game.....that's more time for the newer players to bed in more....the ones who are looking better and better every week....Lee Smith, Tupuo, Sio etc...would also fully expect Kevin Locke to be back too.....
If we can beat HKR...that leaves us Widnes at home and then (no disrespect) the two weakest teams in it, Halifax and Sheffield....in the last week our outlook has changed massively with two important wins and other results...
Certainly more interest back in it now..

| The first half at Wakefield could turn out to be Bradford's most important half of the season.
Up until tht point we'd not played in a match at that intensity and were like rabbits caught in the head lights.
Yesterday we played at an intensity over and above. It wasn't a case of a lower league side catching a sl team on a bad day and scraping a win. Salford weren't worth te ten they were completely dominated. The offloads in the first half in that heat meant they were completely finished after 25 minutes and looked exhausted.

Knowing the RFL it will be decided once they know which teams finish 4th and 5th and will be chosen to help the "preferred" RFL team

The players who came in will have been trying to make their case for a Wembley start - hell of an ncentive and good management!
