| I've been really impressed with Jake Granville at the Cows & Michael Ennis has gone well at the Sharkies & just as irksome as he's always been.
Over here erm, probably Aiton, but he is on the telly quite a lot, so probably more noticeable.

Catalans must think so as they are desperately trying to sign Aiton

| The best SL hookers on this year's form are Roby and Aiton.
The best NRL hookers on this year's form are Smith, Granville, Ennis, Hodgson and Peats.
To round out the ten I'd have Luke, Segeyaro and Farah, who are top quality players who've been injured for fair parts of the season.
Wouldn't know what order to put them in, other than Smith being at the top.

It ain't what you takin', it's who you takin' from, ya feel me? How you expect to run with the wolves come night when you spend all day sparring with the puppies?:41106.jpg |

| On form or not Cameron Smith is miles ahead of anyone. You'd have to go back to Buderus (in his prime, he was good at Leeds but better prior to that) to find someone comparable.
Roby is the beat in SL without doubt but Aiton on current form has been outstanding (arguably better than roby, not that that makes him a better player given how ridiculously consistent Roby has been for years)

As soon as I saw the thread title I was hoping to see a similar sort of joke.
Wasn't disappointed.

Struggled to find a place for licha but could easily have swapped him with 4 of the above, same for luke who will only get better.

| Aiton's had a great season at Leeds but Roby is better IMO. There's only Cameron Smith and Robbie Farah who I'd rate more highly than him.

Yes! I'm in a minority amongst Wigan fans but i think McIlorum is seriously overrated. Mediocre in attack and misses too many tackles in defence. He doesn't make that many tackles either to be honest considering Roby, Aiton and Clarke all make more whilst offering far more in attack at the same time.

You are in a minority amongst Wigan fans in being consistently eminently sensible.

When we talk about the worlds best hookers then Mental Micky should not be mentioned in this elite group of players IMO
I don't rate him at all, He likes to think that he is this hard man type of player but he is more of an out and out thug type of player although his best asset is that he will get stuck in and ruffle a few feathers, so if that's your idea of a quality 9 then you can have him
He misses far too many tackles down the middle channel and his distribution and running game leave him well down the pecking order for England selection never mind being mentioned as one of the top 10 hookers in the world
But Wane loves him and Wigan probably pay him a very attractive salary so i don't mind them paying him that salary rather than giving a talented 9 that cap space
