No, I agree they played well Leigh. But they do overplay way to much. I know they say that's the way they play but you can't do it against that sort of opposition. Will make the middle 8s interesting though.

But if they are in SL. They get a more cash and so will even up the playing roster even more.
Some of their pack where blowing hard, but you get a better quality of pack and then the gap is closed even more.
Considering they have already knocked off Wakey, Salford and Ran Warrington very hard. I would not say they are playing above their station.

True, true. Think this defeat will be good for them in their quest for an SL spot. Only say this because a few of their fans already have themselves down as an SL club.

No it's not. All Harrison has to do is get back to a "square" position at marker at any point and he's put back onside/square. In the same way as an offside player (ie one who hasn't made it back 10m at the point of the play the ball) can then retreat the 10m AFTER the play the ball and is no longer offside.
So actually it's your argument that is nonsense.

Sorry I never saw he'd replied to me, but his is exactly what I would have said. So this.

| Quote: knockersbumpMKII "So far both Warrington tries have come from terrible decisions by Silverdud, he gives a penalty for hand in when the Warrington player drops the ball of his own accord and the second try comes from a ball steal by the Warrington player whom is a mile offside and actually is standing parallel to the tackled player when he plays the ball.
Also Warrington player sticks his leg out for kick through and it's a Warrington scrum after hitting the Warrington players foot, Leigh 'play at the ball' (Ratchford tackle I think) and it's back to zero.
Unbelievably poor refereeing, is he trying to ensure Warrington stay in this/get through?'"
Hull fan in blame the ref shocker...

| Once again we are talking about the ref(who had a decent game) instead of a good cup tie with some good try's involved. Why are fans so obsessed with the ref instead of focusing on the positives.
Also big well done to Leigh, they keep putting in performances and if they get promoted and use the salary cap wisely they will be a good asset to SL.

Well said! I'd quibble with a few decisions (particularly the first Wolves score), but it was a cracking match which I thoroughly enjoyed, with some great tries from both sides. That kick ahead from the Leigh winger made one of the tries of the season. Fabulous stuff.

| It was a good game. Both teams played well.
Think Tony Smith has got the message out to show the RL World that they are tight unit and a happy camp.
The over exaggeration of the celebrations after a Leigh handling errors and forcing goal line drop outs were quite cringey. Would have thought they'd just won the grand final. But if it helped encourage themselves and supporters then good luck to them.
Will be interesting to see there attitude against Wigan next week.

[quote="Steve":1xb0p6sn] Dislike Leigh with a passion, but they are a million miles ahead of any other club in this league, a sad fact. [/quote:1xb0p6sn]:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_24148.jpg |

| Better team won today and I hope Wire go all the way.
But.... I would have loved to have seen us with Mickey Higham or Sean Penkywicz playing today. We got overwhelmed at the PTB today. Nobodies fault, Bob Beswick had a blinder, but having to play an 80 minute hooker took a lot out of Leigh today in terms of ruck speed late on. With Penky fit or Higham eligible I think we could have nicked it today.
Not at all ashamed of our performance. 6 tries to 5 and no signs of the 'infamous' Leigh indiscipline.
If Leigh have avoided any injuries then that is a bloody good result for us. We have enough of a backlog of fixtures before the middle 8's. Today would have added a 3rd midweek fixture to an already busy schedule!
