| Wire [ishould[/i win with plenty to spare, if they can't figure out what Leigh's obvious weaknesses are and exploit them to the full and not take their foot off the gas then they deserve to lose because Leigh have shown they can score given half a chance.
That's not a poke at Leigh because they performed well in the 2nd half against Wakefield, BUT Wakefield were absolutely shocking in that 2nd half.

| Leigh will have a go and really a big loss would have no real significance. We need to judge ourselves against the bottom 4 not the top 4. Bournemouth will not expect to get near Chelsea next season and they don't have to. They just need to finish outside the bottom three. The longer they do that the better chance they have of moving up the table and getting used to that level of intensity. The same for Leigh except that they get a second chance through the Middle 8s to remain in SL. the key now is to get into SL and see what happens.

Absolutely and that the players have had a taste of success against SL sides will motivate them further and give them added belief that they can compete.
The success of Leigh will hopefully give more impetus to those championship sides not quite there yet, that SL status is attainable and that they won't necessarily be whipping boys week in week out. A well founded infrastructure/core stability is everything, that and some fans to keep the till ringing.
Frankly I think how well Leigh do is far more important (to RL as a whole) than people realise.

| I think Wire will win, but they'll make hard work of it. Both teams like to throw the ball around, and as such, both can be a bit daft. Wire are always doing weird silly things. In this respect, it should be like a good old fashioned game from the early 90s. Can't wait.

Well there was huge criticism of this new system with people on here saying that the gulf between SL and the Championship was so great that the Middle 8's would be a complete mismatch. After the three results yesterday, where the SL (each on their own paddocks) beat the Championship by a grand total of one point over three games, then only an idiot would be saying the same now (mind you, we have plenty of those!).
Whoever finishes in the bottom 4 of SL this season will rightly be worried and its by no means certain that the so-called million pound match will even be contested by a SL side and a Championship side. Frankly, it's a breath of fresh air to the game.

| Jamie Peacock got it right after Leigh beat Salford. Leigh have to play 10 out of 10 most games when in SL but only every so often in the championship. Can they consistently perform week in week out.

| Leigh did not play that well, when they played Salford and won.On Sunday they only played anything like they can for 40 minutes and won. There no teams in SL playing consistently,so the argument that Leigh have to perform week in week out doesn't stack up.Hull KR got hammered 60 Nil was it at Wigan and then beat them the cup.

Oh my aching sides!
You're nearly as funny as, well, Bruce Forsyth.

| I just think it is great that all four games are televised. Hopefully Leigh's success will tempt Sky to show more of the early rounds too.

| It would be nice if the home teams turned up the marketing and lowered ticket prices to try and get these games played in as full stadiums as possible. Something like what Salford did in their game last night.
Games on BBC are a brilliant chance to attract new fans that might not otherwise see or hear about our game, and seeing whole stands closed as was the case in saints game in the last round won't help to get them interested
