| Nobody knows what Widdop wants. Maybe, just maybe, he could be seduced by the lure of replacing the most successful captain in Super League history. Must be tempting.

| People move to the uk from all over the world, especially from down under.
Why is it on RLfans that Oz is held in such high esteem and no one in they're right mind would live in the UK.

| I was just watching the Dragons earlier, and yes, they are doing pretty well this year. They seem to have sorted their perennial defensive weakness lately, and with Widdop and Benji on song, are always a threat in attack. But realistically, will they be there or thereabouts at the business end of the season? After all, the deeply ordinary Knights were top of the table not long back.

But Mum and Dad are living in sunny and colourful Australia, not in overcast, rainy and grimy Leeds. What deeper roots are there than parents?
Moreover, who could forsake the sunny lifestyle of fresh succulent oysters, prawns, barramundi and salmon in abundance, consumed with a cool glass or two of sauvignon blanc or chardonnay, in exchange for a dreary lifestyle of gristly. bone and gravy laden pies, and soft mushy peas, washed down with a couple of pints of warm beer?

There are Aldi , FarmFoods , and Lidl stores allover the M62 corridor so most , if not all , of the items you list , should be available to him at very reasonable prices should he choose to move to the north of this fine country of ours .
Furthermore . Blackpool , Morecambe . Skegness , Scarboro and Bridlington etc have some fine beaches where you often see people on surfboards .

Petty authoritarians aren’t man enough to challenge the actions of a person face to face; instead they incite a forum of rumour, innuendo and half truths, and impose rude sanctions to discourage those who dare question fairness.

You've tried trolling this groundless line under a different user name in the past. It was as poop then, as it is now.

| Gary Heatherington would offer Gareth Widdop what he is worth with the offer of future wage increases depending on a number of factors such as international appearances and success with The Rhinos. It certainly won't be anywhere near the inflated wage he's getting in Australia.
Roots-wise Gareth might want to raise his young family back in Yorkshire where he had a successful upbringing before emigrating with his parents aged 15.
If he chooses to play for Leeds Rhinos then he will be joining one of the best run clubs in either hemisphere. If he's just after the money then Salford will be the destination but finance isn't everything.

It also helps if the post he's reading and trying to understand actually makes any sense.

If Leeds can't even match the St George-Illawarra wage, then why would Gareth Widdop leave a very good team situation to be financially worse off?

Sydney is a much better place to raise your kids than Leeds. Sunshine and beaches and good food are a wonderful stimulant for one's mood and sense of well being.

You won't find [ifresh[/i oysters or prawns (they will only be available frozen or recently defrosted), or barramundi of any kind, in the establishments you mentioned. I hate to think of how the frozen prawns taste.
I suggest that you join me on the first Sunday in October in the bistro at ANZ Stadium, on the occasion of the NRL Grand Final. There for a mere $85 you will be able to enjoy a buffet that includes unlimited servings of Sydney rock oysters -- the world's best -- and huge prawns, as your appetiser. Follow that up with a main dish of hot roast lamb, roast beef, or roast pork, served with your choice of vegetables and/or deliciously baked potatos. Or if you prefer you can select from a variety of cold dishes, including baked salmon or chicken, with herbed pasta. There will likely be little place left for dessert, but a variety of chocolate or fresh cream desserts are available. Finish off with tea or coffee and you will not want to leave this lucky country.

Fine beaches? You are having a laugh aren't you? In Australia you can swim or board ride without a wet suit in the summer months. You can also lie on the beach in your swimming costume, even if it is wet, and not catch a cold. None of that is possible in the sad and overcast, not to mention chilly, English beaches that you cited.
