I think he struggled the second time. He seemed to dip the knee, then kind of think better about it, and then go, nah stuff it, I'm bored anyway.

I love reading club submissions to disciplinary hearings. They use words you can be pretty sure the player doesn't even know the meaning of.

Wonder if the RFL are going to take any further action over his homophobic language on social media where it can be seen by millions? If you get five games for saying something on the pitch within earshot of a handful, what's the punishment for saying it on Twitter?

Wouldn't like to see Hock banned for life as although over the years I've seen a few assaults I've thought would warrant such a sentence, none has been committed by Gareth Hock.

Eye gouging surely should warrant a lifetime ban.

In the past, Ashley Cole has been fined £90K, Rio Ferdinand has been fined £25K & £45K, Ryan Babel has been fined £10K.

As these are all football fines, then Hock would probably be fined the RL equivalent...........about £60!!
