It is not unreasonable to suspect that Hodgson's aggressive and hooliganism behaviour was connected to him being dropped for the match against New Zealand.
He now arrives at Canberra without the aura of success around him. That must be a bit embarrassing too. I wouldn't much care to be his flat mate in Canberra for the next few months.
Hopefully Richard Stuart will straighten him out and improve his performances on and off the field.

Joshua Hodgson has just been interviewed by the Sydney Morning Herald where he expressed great remorse for his actions.
He also admitted that his form in the Four Nations had been poor.
