The Headingley accent is now a slightly posh, southern accent. With a twinge of slumming it a smidge for 3 years whilst dressing up in fancy dress every Friday and Saturday night and getting completely drunk off 3 & a half pints in The Box.

I wouldn't have thought any part of Headingley could be described as even 'remotely' posh, let alone 'slightly'.
