Disagree there. The essence of rugby league, and any sport, is the contest. When there is no contest, there is no point.
As in the game where they played away at Leeds, I decided i would stick with it until Saints got a couple of tries, and once it was obvious there wasn't going to be a contest it went off. I have turned off two games this year, and both involved London.

See to me, rugby league is more than just a conclusion. I like to see what's on offer, wether a team will under perform because of an opponent or a weaker team will show spirit and fight for pride. We all know Warrington will probably lose in the grand final again but I'll still watch it.

| I watched it & was not as bored as I thought, as I don't support either side it was interesting to watch the young kids from around the league on loan at the bronco's. I thought they did some excellent work as individuals but they are just not a team & lack the experienced head out on the pitch. But it was rugby league & that is the only reason I have Sky so I don't miss it no matter who is playing, besides don't tell me there has never been a one sided miss match screened before in any sport?

| Maybe they think it will be some what of an exhibition, so they know there will be some good trys scored. People loved to watch the great Brasil football teams hammer teams. To most RL fans it was probably a boring contest, but who knows how non RL fans reacted to it.

| One thing I have to say, thought the ref had a very decent game last night. Didn't recognise the name, so I guess he's just coming through.

| IMO the London Broncos are improving week in week out and it will not belong until they get a win or 3. They have quite a few young players who with the right nurturing will make a decent career in the game. The problem is that the coach (Tony Rea) is not the coach to do that and they have no senior players who they can use as role models.

| Enjoyed the game. Not the best game ever, as London were clearly outclassed, but they made a decent fist of it, were not disgraced, and it was good watching their collection of young uns and lesser lights busting a gut and achieving a creditable scoreline.

| Yep, those of us who have stayed with the club, are soldiering on largely because of the players attitudes, far superior to last years bunch of wasters, moaners and quitters.
I have a lot of respect for Rea, in many ways he is Mr Broncos, but as a tactician he's hopeless, to be fair I guess he hasn't a lot to work with and he has instilled a spirit in this bunch.

| Sky certainly did their best pre match to present this as a contest and Saints a club in crisis. Sadly, the game was as one sided as when Saints sent their kids to Bradford that Easter Monday.
As for why was it on SKY, maybe when the schedule was put together in January they were expecting London to make marquee signings instead of being a collection of NRL never weres and Londoners who never will be (as harsh as that is to say.)

| I'm watching the Catalans game ATM and the commentary is almost unbearable. I thought Sky had released Ben Proe, he's one of the worst commentators I've ever heard and listening to him stammering his way through nothing more than a basic visual description of the play is reminding me of this guyZSLQ0Q-9Q90[/youtube
Hopefully we never have to suffer this guy on Catalans games again and they get Rod Studd or Bill Arthur, who are both capable commentators.
