I've seen just one eye witness comment from a Sts fan who was there and he says it was the Sts fans goading the Trinity fans and they got a reaction but nothing to worry about.

Is chanting "easy easy easy" really classified as goading now? It happens at virtually every game without incident. Why would Wakefield be the only exception to that? The Wakefield fans were giving it throughout the match and didn't like it back after saints took the lead. I'm all for banter amongst teams, and hardly "goading" (at least no more so than the Wakefield fans were giving it earlier) - but there was no need to get physical.
You can ask how bad was it really all you like, ANY incidents shouldn't be tolerated, at all. It was fine last year, don't know what's changed.
It occurred at the sheltered bit of the west(?) side - the bit towards the flats.
There was also a bit of trouble at the Salford game reading their board.

There is it's just relaxed a little this season for certain matches.

If that's the case the segregation policy shouldn't be relaxed and the western terrace made away only for teams who bring a few.

Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_10174.png |

At the end of the game two of us Wakefield fans walked through the West stand terracing where all the Sts fans were to get to the exit near where we were parked and there wasn't a single bad word or contentious action being made by Wakefield or Sts fans.
So I ask again how bad can it have been?'"
I've no idea what happened today, I'm a Wigan fan. But from personal experience, I've witnessed Wakey fans (a minority) that 'give it' to the away fans for literally 80 minutes. Asking for trouble.

Did you get rid of all the voices in your head? Do you now miss them and the things that they said?: |

| I didn't see anything either. No chanting in the north stand at all. I found atmosphere quiet actually between tries.
There was a lady taken out of north stand after abusing a steward but not sure what her problem was. No fighting, just a stream of obscenities.

| I'll tell you what I did see, there was a Sts fan who was stood almost in the middle of the Wakefield fans in the North stand and throughout the first half he was visibly shaking his head a tutting at comments being made around him. In the second half he got into a number of arguments with fans around him because they were unhappy with Roby. Quite why he decided to place himself where he did is a bit of a mystery, the cynic in me says he was there to be provocative but no doubt he's wandering around Merseyside telling everyone how bad the Trinity fans are.
