| They must be fairly significant issues considering they are doubtful it can be sorted by mid-April, and asking for "all hands on deck".
You could pretty much build a new stand in those timescales, so doubtful that it is just stuff like safety barriers. Sounds like fairly fundamental improvements to the entire stadium to me.

There are the same number of barriers that there were under last years safety certificate. If I had to guess I would say the concrete terracing may be unsafe/in need of repair.

It's ok KK, he's never actually been to France, a country where they pick and choose their EU regulations and their H & S is certainly no more stringent than the UK.

| Quote: JEAN CAPDOUZE "I have long been arguing that Belle Vue was a dangerous place, ever since I tried to use the men's "toilets" there.
France would never tolerate such an awful place. If it had been located in France, its owners/administrators would have been prosecuted long ago for maintaining such a shameful facility. Belle Vue is a Dickensian blight on the British ambition to be considered a modern nation.'"
Most big girls do find it dangerous to use the mens toilets - try the ladies next time

| Belle Vue seems much like the situation that Knowsley Road was at the end of our time there. Throwing money at it but making it no better than it was before. Wakey was always a "yeah i've been there but im not going again" type of ground.
It's a shame to see capacity pretty much halved but thems the rules!

| Surely this must exclude the 'Benidorm flats' hospitality stand? If not then surely there is an argument to have it re-assessed because that could be completely segregated from the rest of Belle Vue.
Also, I doubt there will be any cash turnstiles for the first few games, as how will they be able to accurately ensure they are below the 5333 figure? Will tickets be given to away fans if Wakefield can sell out the stadium with home fans? Based on their average attendance that is certainly a likelihood. What could be outcome if Wakefield fans can get on the back of the referee and earn a penalty or two to win a few games that were in the balance? Could a partisan Belle Vue keep them out of the bottom two? Certainly food for thought for the Wakefield public.
Obviously the loss of potential earnings is an absolute killer, especially with their current position and the good work their Chairman has been doing in order to balance the books.
Hopefully it can be rectified quickly.

| Wakey season tickets were only £100 for the past couple of seasons, hence their average attendances being around 8K. However, they've doubled in price and are over £200 this season which will no doubt see the hugely discounted supporters brigade quitting the club in droves, just like they did at Bradford and Huddersfield.
5,333 capacity will be more than adequate.

| ^ job on. Plus they had a large amount of freebies which MC has put a stop to. I think the good Friday game might be the only one of trouble getting in terms of capacity being reached but I understand they hope to have it sorted by then.

Think there's a percentage of available tickets specified in operational rules that have to be made available to oppsition club.
