could be right or he could be publicly announcing he's willing to make an offer and to show NZ they have competition

| More likely he just enjoys ing off the Warriors. To be fair, he has a point, if Tomkins enjoys the media work on the side too, he should find a club in Sydney really.

| IF russell signs sam it wont be Inglis moving position it will be john sutton moving to lock or the backrow and i believe thats why he was joking about can you play another position. Luke Keary the young half has been seen as a big potential but before ever playing a first grade game he has been threatening to leave and Madge wont like that. There is no way Russell and Madge haven't spoken about Sam before and no doubt thats why he knows Sam,,, I'm sure Tomkins would of been Russell guest to the after parter as well.

| Quote: Odem "I think Inglis is the best in the world. The reason he doesn't start at FB for Aus and Queensland is because they are keeping their tried and tested team together which includes Slater at FB with Inglis at Centre. Thats just the way it is.
Inglis could signal a move to a 'new' kind of FB.
I believe Tomkins could be just as good if he goes to the NRL though, the guy is a once in a generation player.'"
There have been suggestions in the media Inglis should play fullback for the second game of origin with Slater moving to the wing, even in the first game it was suggested due to Inglis's skills he should've be been moved back to fullback to get him involved more. But your right the Melbourne combination of Slater, Cronk and Smith is a tried and tested formula.

If sam moved to souths and outed inglis at fullback he would be public enemy number 1 in aus and they would cause a witch hunt against him. billy slater hasn't really been him self in the last 2 years he has an odd game where he's back to being amazing but this season he has been poor.

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

| We must be watching different Billy Slaters.
Tomkins will be with Wigan next season.

must be because he has been poor and isn't playing anywhere near the mythical player he once was.

| This seasons stats so far for what they are worth
Played Tries Tackles Metres Hit Ups
Slater 12 7 65 1712 167
Inglis 11 11 63 1911 128
Its a similar story other than tries scored and that can change in one game with a hatrick.

| He averages around 13 tries a season over his 11 year career.
He is about where he normally is, as he gets older, he is nudging 30 and Coaches plan for him more its always going to be tough delivering year on year.
Fullback for Oz is always going to be a tough role to hold on to but teams are shuffled to get the best available into the team, in recent years there have been 3 fullbacks, run onto the field for the Kangaroos.
In no order....
Hayne did well in the last SOO
Dugan has had his troubles but is class
Stewart
Inglis
Boyd did well replacing Slater when he was called on ( I am not a fan but he gets it done.)

Listen carefully to the conversation, especially at the end of the interview. Tomkins asks Crowe if he is interested in "a scrawny full back.." Crowe says that he already has Greg Inglis.
Then Crowe says
No way could Souths fit Tomkins in under the cap, especially with Sam Burgess due a new contract (which will be massive).

| I think people are missing the point with Tomkins -> Souths problems. The problem isn't whether he would make it into the team somewhere: obviously he would. The question is whether it is efficient for Souths to sign Tomkins, to which the answer is no. He wouldn't be worth as much to Souths as he would be to other teams (because of Inglis, and Sutton actually playing well under Maguire even though really he's pretty average), so other teams are probably going to pay more, so he will go there... not hard...
