I have to agree. Even as a Hull fan i'm pretty mystified as to how the hell that can be given. The yeaman try I thought was fair enough, but that one?!!!! As delighted as I am to get a win, This has caused real damage t the sport. How can we continue with video refs when this is the sort of call that they make. Ridiculous. Maybe he was trying to make up for Dobsons last year. Just cannot understand it!

In Australia, they have 2 video referees, yet still balls up simple calls.

I have been saying for years that Ganson was having difficulty with his eyes that disqualified him from refereeing.

Ganson may be liable for legal action by a group of independent fans (not only Hull KR fans), for bringing the game into disrepute, even if his terrible action was judged to be not malicious, nor intended to be unfair, but only grossly incompetent. The possibility of this kind of legal action needs to be explored with a solicitor. After all we cannot impose laser vision surgery on Mr Ganson, just as we cannot stop Nigel Wood from eating two large pizzas for lunch every day. The best we can hope for is to force these ne'er do wells out of the game.
