JULIEN RINALDI IS A CAS FAN
Allez Les Catalans:5525.jpg |
|
| Rangi Chase informed Daryl Powell he intends to see out his contract at Cas next season. Think you can rule him out.
Weller Hauraki has been strongly rumored as Salford bound.
Jordan Thompson has on numerous occasions said to ignore rumors about him, But he'd be Hull bound. Not Salford, And would be a massive loss at Cas, I think he'll stay.

Source?
What he intends and what Cas can afford is a completely different matter. If what I've heard he's been offered by Salford is true then he'd be a fool to stay with Cas.

50086_1357229109.jpg [b:33tg3xj5]Me:[/b:33tg3xj5] I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
[b:33tg3xj5]knockersbumpMKII:[/b:33tg3xj5] Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_50086.jpg |

| Will Chase get a work permit this time round or will the fact he broke that bloke's jaw count against him.
Garreth Carvell and Adrian Morley will be two.

And just like Den Perry, you can put Rangi's word in the bank.

| I have heard Michael Dobson (Hull KR), Cory Paterson (Hull KR), Adrian Morley (Warrington), Mark Minichiello (Gold Coast), Michael Crocker (South Sydney) and Neville Costigan (Newcastle) are the six who will sign with Salford -- plus Josh Dugan (St George-Illawarra), and Benji Marshall (Wests Tigers), if the RFL follows Dr Marwan Koukash's request and grants to all SL clubs salary cap exemption and unlimited spending for two marquee players (in this case Marshall and Dugan). Otherwise Dugan and Marshall will not come. If Port Moresby born Costigan comes he may well bring with him fellow PNG stars winger David Mead (Gold Coast) and hooker James Segaryo (Penrith) in 2015, thus giving Salford a definite Melanesian flavour that no other British clubs have.
But that's just what I heard, and I can't remember who I heard it from, but I do remember that my source was very certain that these players wanted to play for Salford and win the Super League and the Challenge Cup in the first year, and then try to win both competitions again the following year in order to smash all UK records. The idea is to make Salford a club that can terrify and thus eclipse the Big 8 (Wigan, Leeds, Warrington, Huddersfield, Catalans, St Helens, Bradford and Hull FC), and a club that can also win the World Club Championship on its first outing.
With Marwyn Koukash the sky is the limit.
If only we had 14 Marwyn Koukashes!

For this to be true, I think Dr Koukash would also have to persuade the RFL to drop the overseas quota.

| Some people need to get a grip, all this speculation is wonderful fun, but that is all it is, speculation. As a Salford fan who has been fed rumours of big signings for longer than I care to remember, I will believe it when these signings are running out in Salford kit, until then I remain a sceptic to protect my own sanity.

Sheffield only have Menzie Yere...
Salford would have three, which would even eclipse Hull KR when Stanley Gene and Makali Aizue (currently with Dewsbury Rams) played for the Rovers.

I suspect that Koukash and Noble intend to sack all existing imports to make way for the new import stars envisaged.
Mind you teen sensation Theo Fages, being French and having some Salford academy training, is not considered part of any import quota.

You actually list at least 6 players who are all non-fed trained. So they can offload whoever they want, it still won't change the fact that all those players will be unable to join the club.

What about Misi Taulapapa and Quentin Laulu-Togagae then?

But, equally possibly, they may have none.
It is actually Whitehaven that have the most PNG players in the UK, having both Jesse Joe Parker and Rodney Pora in their squad.
