Which tune? Unforgettable? Did you forget the name of it?

| This year has been terrific so far which is amazing when you consider that folk like Garry Schofield (I know) was saying the game was dying on its feet during the off-season. They couldn't be more wrong. The number of kids coming through is starting to change the make-up of the league i.e. professionalism is instilling a belief that we didn't used to get. It's taken a while to get to this stage but I think we're slowly starting to see the rewards from teams being forced to invest in youth with the reduction of quotas and the salary cap.

| With a salary cap you would expect teams to even themselves out and can only be good in the long run. What we really need to see is an increase in skill levels and moments of outstanding brilliance to win close games.

| I think this season has been much more enjoyable than last season up to now. Not just the unpredictability of the games, but also the quality has been higher which has surprised me.
Certainly from my own club's point of view, we are playing more watchable rugby even with the loss of Finch, Leuluai, Carmont, Lima, Hock etc.
Most of the televised games have been good fare too, maybe the added incentive of a World Cup place has raised some players' games? Who knows.

Let's hope the gradual increasing on intensity will lead to that.

As it is, it wasn't on Sky, Warrington were not at the races, but yet you lot played really well. Lets just see if you can back it up away at Hudds on Monday, especially as they are on a bit of a slider themselves at the moment.'"
Mmm. Those tears are so tasty.

No it's not. Unpredictability and uncertainty are entirely predictable. It's the outcomes that are not predictable. An inability to judge an outcome isn't the same as an inability to judge whether you can judge the outcome or not.

I think it's usually just after the Easter period when the whipping boy SL rabble clubs quit pretending they are genuine competitive entities in SL and normality is then restored.

Oh dear
All this increasing SL intensity is absolutely killing me.
Huddersfield have hit 50 against Widnes now.

| The quality has definitely increased... by some of the teams in the league. The other half/two thirds are still .

| Just as a matter of interest, does anyone know the highest points scored cumulative in a round of super league?
