I'm liking the game so far but I have the depressing feeling that I will forever be completely useless on it. Every time I play I get someone scoring an outrageous try against me and I'll turn off the game in protest and flick on Far Cry 3. Oh well maybe I'll get the hang of it.

It took me a couple of days to get used to it and now I think I'm alright at it. Played 3 online games and won all 3 and I'm now beating the computer on the 3rd hardest setting

When I first started I was getting my ass kicked on rookie.

I think its brilliant, far far better than any of the last ones. People on here were hoping for EA sports to do a RL game, which would have been great if it was on a par with FIFA, but their recent Rugby Union games have been shocking. It just feels like theyv put so much more effort in to this game. I agree its frustrating with the interceptions but most of them are my fault in hindsight for risky balls, think it just takes some getting used to. Im currently at the rookie level and competing but normally lose after a silly error (though i did score 2 interception tries myself last game). Id reccomend it to anyone not just league fans

Right from monday i will draw people teams for the league i have everyone on here so i will message you online with your teams fixtures etc. if anyone wants to join before i do the teams add me or if you just want a game anyway cheers .... STU-C-WWRL

I'm getting the hang of it and it's brilliant when you can make the most of the running lines. Struggled to gain yardage and convert chances until I got the hang of fending whilst sprinting. Beat Sts by 40 in the semi final then Cas in the GF, something that's also a bit unrealistic is the performance in the league of the lesser teams.

Also just got to the end of season 1 and sinfields retired, 'lost his passion for the game'!

I had JJB, Leuluai and Peacock retire on me. Brought in Jack Reed, Ben Hannant, Joel Thompson and Ben Barba though Still 100k under the cap!!!!! There doesnt seem to be any sort of quota as such. Tried for Benji and Thurston too but failed.

Played Manly in a 'friendly' on Legend setting as a challenge and after 2 or 3 goes beat them 14-6! I like that you can create space by altering your runing line then the support players actually run into the gap.

Does anyone find though if you just manage your team and simulate the fixtures rather than playing the games that the rusults are a little unrealistic and hard to influence?

Got 10 teams sorted looking for two more so we can play 3 fixtures a week, games are anytime your opponent is ready to play not at set times just 3, 20 min games a week if interested add me or post here soon cheers. STU-C-WWRL

Me and Stu were practising the other night. Couple of epic games on there once we sorted out the difficulty

I'm struggling with this game il be honest! Cannot kick properly on the last tackle and my attack is awful. All I can do is defend.

Tips please anyone.....

Press LB and RB buttons together to get the ball to the kicker in the pocket on the last gives more time.

Play to one channel for 2/3 plays on attack then hit 2nd/3rd receiver followed by an early short ball to spread the play. Whilst carrying the ball angle (dig) in to create space and deliver a short pass, someone will run into the gap. That and hold the fend 'button' every time you go into contact! Also run the lines of the player you pass to from DH as indicated on the pitch, gaps will open up more.

So where only playing 10 mins games? Ive just seen all my friend requests, can we have the games posted on here also please
