| I'll get my Reason in now. Just finished work at 11pm. I know quite a few people also working aswell. We wouldn't of had the best of crowd due to recent performance if on Saturday but still a load more than today. Why change it to Monday I'll never know as its making alot of fans very unhappy. Sky won't be bothered though
P.s won't be watching the game back!!! Well done Hull KR

An arrogant Wigan fan a few days before we stuffed them 18-4 at the JJB.:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_42181.jpg |

The England game kicked off at 5pm and finished at 6
We played bradford t'other year, same day as england v germany. We brought the kick off forward and the crowd was effected, & it would've been if they'd have clashed.
The football definitely effected the crowd tonight, will KR take less away fans then that this year anywhere?

''RALLY ROUND'': |
|
| 300-400 of us there last night, which is not so bad when you consider the football was on and work commitments etc etc. Journey took almost 2 hrs from Hull due to traffic. Missed the first half of the footy, but hey-ho, we saw a good performance from our boys. I can't understand why they chose us for this one when surely Bradford/Cas would have made more sense given travelling distances etc etc.

5th Giants home game on Sky, not one away game yet shown, as you say a strange choice for TV but in the end they got their story and a great performance from you lot and Dobson in particular but to be fair none of the weekend games stood out as being a logical TV choice as I'm guessing Catalans and London will never get a home game shown on a Monday.

To be fair, it's not so much a trick as what should be done.
It's tickets issued that determines the attendance at most clubs, it's not the club's fault if people don't turn up when the seat they've been issued is then unavailable for anyone else to buy.

Yes but the difference with ours is that our game kicked off at 11:30am on a SUNDAY, when there is infrequent public transport.
This was a Monday night when there is more frequent public transport and the England game begun before. If it was a Cas game, I suspect most people would have drunk down in the Boot Room and surrounding pubs and then gone to the game.
There is no excuse except that Huddersfield fans don't turn out when games are on TV.

Love your concern but in truth you will not be happy until Giants are out and Fax are in Super League and that is not going to happen any time soon so if thats how you get your kicks so be it

| Spare a thought for Championship clubs whose players work during the day and have to play Thursday nights with no money from the tv contract to offset reduced gates.
Hudds have few fans, that's a fact, even after cheap entry deals and all Davy's money propping them up. It must be worrying for him when so few turn up for such a vital game for both clubs.
SL isn't working well enough to be a closed shop.

| SKY do not give one hoot about the size of the crowd, every SKY Monday crowd will be down on the same fixture last year between the clubs, its a shame as on tv it looks like our game is dying on its feet.Im worried about the size of the crowd at Widnes in a couple of weeks when they play Cas could be below 4k.

Thats bang on, Sky are not interested in RL. They are only interested in SKY and having something to show to folk sat at home, or in the pub on a Monday night.
Of course as a sport we enjoy the cash that they give to us but we are no longer masters of our own destiny, we dance to Mr Murdoch's tune

| I think Monday night sky games will effect crowds to be honest. So no big deal, and i think Huddersfield will lose a few fans due to performances recently.

| Hudds must have a serious PR problem in the town. Big population, good team, good stadium. Desperate crowds really.

[quote="The Reason":3e09qe5x]Hi Andy
The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.
