| Sullivan and Schoffield are the most capped players for Great Britain, that records safe, Schoffields 3 caps for England give him 49 international caps in total.
Morley is the most capped Englishman at international level with 30 for GB and 20 for England, get over it!
What's the problem Gary?

| It all rather depends how you look at it.
GB caps are different to England caps. It seems like lazy thinking to lump the two together.
However we used to compete as England in the early part of the 20th century before becoming GB and then reverting to England again. I'd still keep the two apart, especially as some players were capped for both. England games were often seen as less important than GB caps in the past.

| Quote: I'm going to debate it because from mine and Mick Sullivan's point of view it's always been Great Britain caps, "And former Golden Boot winner Schofield has revealed he will lobby the Rugby Football League to keep his and Sullivan's record as Great Britain cap holders intact.
"I'm going to debate it because from mine and Mick Sullivan's point of view it's always been Great Britain caps," he told Sky Sports News Radio.'"
As far as I know, the fact that Schofield and Sullivan are the GB Test record holders has never been in question.
Morley has simply made it to 50 international appearances, he is not taking any record from Schoey.

| Brilliant player who from a very young age was mixing it with the best, failed coach, poor pundit and now cast adrift by the sport so feels the need to grab headlines whenever he can. Sad.

| No reason why he couldn't have gone about this privately rather than trying to get himself more media attention. If he isn't wrongly accusing Wigan off being disrespectful at MOS award ceremonies.. He's bleating on about something else to get attention....
The guy was a great player and from what I've heard a great guy when it comes to helping people out in rugby league off the pitch. But he comes across as an absolute d1ck with the way he acts on twitter and in the media. Seeing him on the Super League show when he used to be a pundit used to drive me insane with his bias against certain teams.
You can argue he has a point, But GB have no been disbanded so It's hardly Morleys Fault. If he becomes the most Capped player internationally whether that be For GB, England or both combined, he deserves the plaudits for that. And Gary is trying his best to take that away from Morley and to keep one of the few things he achieved in Rugby League impossible to be beaten.

| It's hard to believe that he begrudges the record going to Morley who was, after all, a Leeds team-mate once upon a time.
Put it this way, if the situation was reversed, Adrian Morley wouldn't be whinging about it.
Perhaps he resents the sky-high reputation Moz has in the NRL following his spell with the Roosters, although to be fair Schofield's stock also remains high in Sydney following stints with Balmain and Western Suburbs.

| Just going off topic slightly here, does Morley's 50 caps include his infamous 12 seconds against Australia at the JJB?

That 12 seconds should be replayed to every GB/England prop making their debut as the only appropriate means of dealing with Australians.
The PFU should make Morley a life member for that 12 seconds alone.

It was actually much less than 12 seconds, more like 6-7 (from kick off to impact).
12 seconds was the time Ganson blew the whistle to stop the clock.

Precisely.
If I'm honest I'm starting to find present-day Schofield very sad. He's like the bitter old man sitting alone in the pub every day, spitting bile and angry nonsense; furious at the world and it's perceived crimes against him.
If he could think before he spoke he could remain a legend even after his playing days. Unfortunately his track record speaks for itself...but if you ask him, it's everyone else's fault.
