For a club spending significantly less that the teams above, and indeed many teams below them, to miss out on the last play-off spot in the last game of a season when the squad has been destroyed by injuries since about round 10 is not exactly failure.
Added to that a cup semi-final that went to golden point it's hardly a bad season.
And to be honest, I'd rather finish in 9th than finish 7th by manipulating the system.

I'll try not to.
In fairness I was quite impressed by a couple of your young forwards today (although Watts seems to have lost a bit of his aggression). I just hope they are given a chance to develop in the 1st team.

Watts has been disappointing this season. Not helped by his off field antics. Hopefully he'll get back to his best next season as he definitely has great potential.

Agreed, and I hope it continues. However, without the injury to Clinton this might not have been the case, and with the addition of Ryan O'Hara next year they face an even bigger fight for a first team place. |

Crap parking, Rovers is actually one of the best SL grounds for parking. Thats unless you couldn't be d to pay the £3 for the east stand car park or £5 for the main carpark. |

Fantastic game tonight, neither side deserved to lose but someone had to make the eight. Don't have any qualms about HKR making the play-offs. They've been the better side over the course of the last few weeks and have earnt their place.
