5) That lucky try Sam the gerbal Tomkins scored when the ball blew off the kick off tee. When has that ever been seen before?
It wasn't a case of Wigan playing well, more a case of Wire playing poorly.
I see there was smalltime behaviour from Wigan's players and fans celebrating a win against a side they claim "isn't a big club with no history" like they'd won the Challenge Cup,Grand Final and World Club Championship rolled in to one!!
And they claim we're not their biggest rivals!!!'"
You are a very bitter man.
Notice how the fans of other teams (the ones who are not bothered who wins) are not talking about all the luck and ref decisions. We were not boring either. All of our tries were class!
The Sam try was not straight from the kick-off, it was the play after. He is a class act.

He's not a Wire fan. He was outed as a troll from another club ages ago, and yet he still gets bites every time he posts.

| Ignoring his troll status, the reason Wigan won today was the brilliant skill on show and the determination to change the momentum when wire came back at them. Cracking game for the neutral.

Sour and grapes spring to mind. Well beaten by a far superior side. Might have been different had Briers played but he didn't and it's now history. Warrington were mullered.

Agreed.
The first half was as good a 40 minutes of Rugby League as I've ever seen.

| Think the game might have been different if Briers was playing (not saying he would of won them the game).
Anyway what about that try from Charnley, brilliant!

| It would seem wigan have well and truly hit first gear now, after spending much of this season (if we compare to last season) in second gear. they did a warrington on warrington yesterday, ran and tackled like their lives really did depend on it, never gave warrington an inch in the first 25 minutes, and the same for a period in the second half. warrington have been blowing the opposition out of the water in the first quarter for most of the year, wigan denied them that yesterday and they were found wanting.

| Wigan played very well for 65minutes of that game, Warrington played well for 15. Thats why Wigan won.
Warringtons defence for large parts of the game was appalling, they attacked with little structure which left them turning over far too much ball, taking risks they didnt need to and doing too much tackling. For 15 mintuse everything they tried worked and they got back in to the game, but once Wigan slowed them down and got them into an arm wrestle they went to pot Wigan ran away with it.
