Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

Quins should have held onto some of the very good players they already had.
I would like to see Quins sign some good players, they don't have to be 'big name' but one or two would be good.
Coming from a marketing perspective, I would love to see them sign up a couple of RU players.

I think if they can manage to hang on to a lot of their squad they should at least be able to compete in NL1 next season. But they are right, they will probably need some good signings to be able to challenge for trophies.

Without being too negative, don't Quins run at a massive loss. So, bringing in Big name players, means paying Big Bucks and increasing the amount they lose on a yearly basis. Sure Hughes will be happy about that.

I suppose they hope some big name players could bring in an extra thousand people per game and hope to sell more shirts etc. If that doesn't happen as a result then it will be a fail, unless they happen to be really succesful and play in the big games. |

It seems a risky strategy, but good luck to them. And as you say hopefully it'll pull in the crowds and become a consistent play-off team. On the other hand, it could be the end of them if they can't get the support in and the players don't perform |

Any debt that is Run up by Harlequins RL is payed off by David Hughes out of his own pocket. |
