Despite 'Great Britain' not winning anything either I actually agree with you.
The GB name is something more casual RL supporters have heard of than England and a lot of people will remember Offiahs length of the field try against Australia thats often shown on things like Question of sport etc etc |

Agree with you both guys. For me a GB v Aus game just somehow has a slightly bigger feel to it than Eng v Aus, not sure why really. Re the hammerings GB have suffered in the past, we've also pushed them close at times too, and in any case I can't see the England team (esp with McNamara as coach  ) faring any better.  |

Absolutely right Roofs.
Rightly or wrongly the name 'Great Britain' is synonymous with international RL. The name 'England' seems to be more associated with the football and Union sides.
Even if people are not massive fans of RL they will tend to think of 'Great Britain' as being a league side.

I have been to Wembley twice to watch GB v Aus, both times i went there expecting GB to get smashed...........they won both times, so you never know, when it comes to Wembley we seem to do well against the aussies.

Won't a number of seats be given to both Australia RL and NZRL to sell to their supporters?
Expect the upper tier to be closed unless ticket sales go mental.
