At what stage are questions asked about Cummings position when he thinks Childs is capable of refereeing an SL game. He is clearly so far out of his depth it is embarrassing. Les Catalans try that clearly wasnt to him allowing Leeds another PTB when the hooter had clearly gone, these are simply, basic things.

Officials have been awful today. I'm a qualified official myself and I find it shocking how Child is!

He is an absolute imbecile, how he is still refereeing in super league I do not know. The players have no respect for him, the fans have no respect for him and neither do the coaches! He's an embarassment. His inability to control a game is quick shocking.

I think his refereeing more than anything almost lost control of the game. Leeds can take a lot of the blame for it almost spilling over but I suspect with a better referee much of the frustrations wouldn't be there.

we in the championship said this all along before he was promotoed to inflict himself upon sooperdooper league, one of the perks of not getting in 3 years ago was the resulting avoidence of Childs for a couple of years. unfortunately now we will be back in sooperdooper league next year we have him to look forward too.

I was going to write that but thought I'd get shot down for being bitter. Leeds got dirty early in the second half and the referees overall lack of control could have seen it turn nasty. Leeds got a fair few calls in our favour, ref had absolutely no baring on the result, but that was literally the worst officiating performance I've seen this season.

I wanted Catalans to win as I'm sure many did but I completely agree with you. Terrible refereeing. I accept no referee will get everything right but Childs seems to make things up as he goes along and risked losing control of the players at times with erratic decisions.

In fairness to Mr Childs , reffing Leeds is an absolute nightmare , the amount of interference and cheap shots is quite ridiculous , he could easily have doubled up on the number of penalties against both clubs tonight

It does seem a bit strange that people slate him (justifiably might I add) yet insist on pluralising his name - as if one of him isn't enough.



At least the players on the field however gain the benefit of explanations of his decisions when they ask, which is more than the confused spectators in the stands get.



You should never leave a game talking about the referee, but when this bloke's in charge, people talk of little else.
