No harm in it going there, hopefully the Russell Crowe influence meant for it to be replayed in full during the day.
Rugby union as a sport has spent alot of money to crack America, and has made very, very little progress beyond a few universities. League is a simpler game to learn and play, but it is not American and they are loathe to accept games that are not 'theirs'
League has a much better chance of taking off than union over there, and people like Crowe helping it being shown to more people over there can only help, but it may be some time before we see significant interest from over there.
Would be interesting to see what the viewing figures were, and what they are for games two and three over there.
