Fantastic game of rugby league

It was a cracking game, best I've been to in long long time. We played our hearts out. Couple of talking points-

8 point try- our kid was at pitchside when it happened and said it was a really bad challenge.

James child- awful. Needless penalties for both teams, if hed shut up blowing it could have been 6-54 to the cats or Leigh might have won, but at least we'd have known who the true winner was.

Big shout for James Taylor for Leigh. Punches above his weight every week, workhorse who kicks like a mule.

The best atmosphere ever at the lsv. Brilliant in the north stand tonight. Also, 2300 was a joke of a crowd announcement.

"We went into it like any other Super League game and we had to or else we would have got beaten.

"They outmuscled us tonight, which hasn't happened in a long time in Super League. They really ran hard and strong and played fast on us.

"We didn't have the ball for the first period of the game and I knew if we got some plays I knew we would be okay.

"But we were our own worst enemy. I thought we played unstructured, poor footy but they are a good team and probably deserved better than they got."
