| Why do people call this bloke 'Jammer'?
The accepted abbreviation of 'James' is usually 'Jim'
So therefore you would think people would call him 'Jimmy' or something.

I've just been told an acceptable nickname for someone called 'James' is pronounced 'JAY-MER' so maybe someone was spelling it 'Jamer' before realising how stupid it looked.
Actually I don't really give a monkeys if I'm honest and I'm wishing I hadn't bothered mentioning it. |
