A comment on ref's needing to wise up and a picture of Graham as your Avatar? Priceless.......

| For pure theatrics look no further than Danny MGuire. In the cup game against Wigan last season he was chasing through a kicked ball, a Wigan player nudged him with his shoulder and McGuire went down like a premiership football player, with the arms waving around and everything.
A bit og niggle is not a problem as long as the player is prepared to stand up and take a possible smack for it.

| Back to back responses from Wiganers taking a pop at the fact the OP supports a different team to them.
No attempt to defend the indefensible little scrote though I see?

Don't forget that Sam takes some smacks as well'"
he's going to be taking a lot more as well if he keeps on.

How can i defend him? He does some things he shouldn't do, simple as, so does Wilkin, Graham, Mcguire and so on.

ALL players put their knees into a player who is in the act of scoring a try? Really?
All players try to trap the arm of a tackler and then try to stand over them at the PTB? Really?
I didn't see any of the St George players doing that last night. I didn't see any Saints or Wire players doing that on Friday night.
Instead of trying to put the blame on other players why not address the problems high-lighted by the OP. And does it really matter if he supports Saints, Leeds Wire or anyone else?

| Nothing to do with the team he's playing for, just an observation that potentially the best English player of his generation has brought things into his game that are not needed and it's noticed by other fans from other clubs, unbelievable that isn't it.

Again, highlighting the supposed hatred of Wigan rather than arguing the point of what Tomkins did last night.

| The kid has the potential to be a very good player, there's no denying that.
Let's be honest though when Morris went in for that first try for the Aussies Tomkins went in with the knees.
If anybody says different they are either blind or bias, which one is it.
And before any Wigan fan saying it's a Saints fan mouthing off about Wigan I would have said the same if it was a Saints player.

| Tomkins needs to man up and concentrate on actually playing, not acting the infantile, gobby, niggling git. or us manly widnes boys will sort him right out. this is his final warning or hes of to the naughty step i.e. the Halliwell Jones stadium

| I have no problem with Sam and his aggression, as I feel all half backs/full backs need it in a way, I just hope he channels it into a positive way. He's only 21 years old and I feel he will grow out of it eventually. His fantastic rugby ability will hopefully be making the headlines soon I'm sure of it.
