But the OP asked the question 'Who do you WANT to win the WCC'
Many neutral supporters like myself really honestly couldn't care less about the score after 80 mins.
Even given the fact there is no such team as 'St George' playing.

but how many of us actually bother to say 'St george-Illawarra Dragons'?
some of us have busy lives and there are only 24 hours in a day
and by 'enemy' i of course dont mean in any real sense. i was raised to nurture a healthy good natured rivalry with the people of Wigan, warrington and st helens.
but if i find them on my land, i will capture them and burn them in the Wicker Man |

I see your point Vikingsmurf.
It would probably have taken the OP a full 5 seconds to type 'Illawarra Dragons' on the end of 'St George'....and as you say we all lead busy lives.
As I'm sure you know 'St George Dragons' and the 'Illawarra Steelers' merged in 1998 to form what we now know as the St George ILLAWARRA Dragons.
When referring to merged clubs I think it's only fair to mention both the teams.
The OP could even have typed 'SGI' if he was REALLY strapped for time.
Laziness is no excuse, especially on an internet forum.
