We will see.
What we do know is that putting out squads filled with overseas players and being competitive hasnt made Wakefield sustainable.
Maybe when people stop looking at being competitive this season as the only aim of their existence they can put the necessary effort into making sure they are competitive and sustainable for a long time. |

Result for everyone, including Wakefield.
If they are to survive and come back stronger, it will be based on going back to the strength of the local game, not by shipping in players who were never good enough for the NRL, thats what got them here in the first place. |

If there is one coach who can turn this negative into a positive it's John Kear. Wakefield previously had some great talent in the academy ranks who hadn't make it through to senior level. I know some left but if they blood these youngsters and allow them to have a no fear attitude there may be some shocks. After all Wakefield are the team to shock the big boys. |

It's a sad state of affairs. What happened with the buy-out? Was it really wealthy people or not? I also would think a few clubs have their eye on Josh Vievers.
