Yes. The families, friends, estate agents, barmen and bookmakers of all the Australians they've had playing for them over the last ten years.
That's a lot of people, so it could well be them.

| Wigan is no doubt the biggest club in rugby league because not many teams can even get close to them when it comes to overall trophy hauls. Correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t South Sydney the record holders for most premiership wins in Australia?
Even if this is the case, South Sydney aren’t the club that they used to be on the field unlike Wigan.

Quite right Damian.
Barry McKenzie blames Rusty Crowe for that.
If he spent more time signing Aussie players instead of Pommie ones (that he hypes up to be unstoppable unless you have kryptonite and a bar of Palmolive thereby increasing memberships for his club) then Souths might at least make the 8....

Wests managed ok. With 2 poms, no less.
Of course, Cronulla did so well with a first XIII almost entirely consisting of ockers...

| Which team currently has the most fans, members, column inches, radio shows, TV coverage, internet site visits, etc would all likely come from a team located in Southeast Queensland rather than a team in Greater Manchester.
Who has the is the club with the most history and who are the biggest club in history, ask any Liverpool and Man Utd fan.

Only one played often though.
And he was very ordinary as we all saw.
Yet another statistic sadly... the NRL have to help developing nations by letting some different nationalities have a go at the greatest league in the world.
Ah well.

United- 18+11+3+2=34
Liverpool - 18+7+5=30
The answer to the original question is unfortunately Wigan.

Ellis (Wests player of the year & RLIF 2nd row of the year): 24 appearances, 6 tries
Flanagan: 21 appearances, 2 tries
You think 21 appearances is not playing very often? Your own hero, Gallen, made a whopping 23.
The NRL should be concentrating on their own talent, having lost the WC and 4 Nations, and ocker Schoolboys getting a whooping off our kids recently.
