Silverwood's over there. Should have reffed the NZ v PNG game but had a "leg injury" in training and was replaced by Ben Cummins, an Australian.

| your clutching at straws mate!
Australia have been better for 40 years because they produce better players. There domestic competition is better and has more intensity which the england players do not get in Super League.
How are England gonna get any better if people would rather disregard the poor skill set and instead moan about referee decisions!

Yawn. England have been perfectly competitive in this game.

I think there's some Aussies starting to think this way too brains. No wonder you won't turn out for internationals, every time someone competes, the ref takes over for the Darren Lockyer show.

Lewis' pass was definitely forward and I would say Cronk got fingers to Lockyer's kick, knocking it on.
England lost this game because they had no halves and contiually dropped the ball at the worst moments. Tomkins was completely nullified at the back by kicking early and deep and sending multiple chasers to deal with one player. If I were English, i'd be embarrased that anyone would claim no trophys for 40 years is due to refereeing.

| England looked poor in the first 10. Ref was fine with this. We get on top, score a try and it all changed. Money has changed hands.

| International Games are a shambles. Barry McKenzie is having an giddy fit at this. But 34-14 wasn't a final score that reflects the game.
Tate's Try - Dropped
First Try - Ball Dropped before Grounding by Other Player
Forward Pass - Try.
There's 18 (or 16) points that shouldn't have been conceeded. That's 18-14. Lunt's try was perfectly fine. Ref's call WTF is that. 22-18.
We won

That is what I am trying to say. You can moan about today's referee as much as you like but to blame the ref's for the last 40 years is a joke.

| The most bizarre one for me was Cameron Smith clearly tapping the ball with his foot. That should have been play on.

| I'm not blaming the ref for the last 40 years. As I said, I don't mind getting beaten of great Australasian select XIII sides that tear teams to bits with amazing skill, that's great to watch. I do mind getting beat off a fat bloke with a mullet. The current Australasian select XII are poor, and are worried that after losing the RLWC, they will lose this. Only one thing for it, get the rich boys in and make the officials rich.

Tap.
Ref- 'James Graham's going to flatten you mate.'
Cam Smith- 'I've changed my mind ref, we'll kick for goal.'
Ref- 'That's fine Cammy lad, those are the rules'
James Graham- 'Ref?'
Ref- 'Don't argue with me James, i'll sin-bin you'

| The reason I don't like the international game that much is because we are letting it dictate or domestic game. We are now frowning at teams when they sign Australian players ahead of English players (who cares ?) and the fact it also runs the risk of the players playing too much over the course of a year.
I really think the best thing to do is just have a GB team play the Aussies or Kiwis every four years and just leave it at that. Lets be honest the rest of the international scene is a joke. Being allowed to play for more then one country, Countries full of players who ain't actually born in that country and not to mention the biased referee's.

| What good would having the kangaroos win year in year out do for the international game?
If anything the officials would be instructed to bring the contests closer
