| Again, I never liked him but anyone who is willing to go out on a rugby pitch and put their body on the line earns my respect. No one deserves to go out like this.
RIP and condolences to his family.

On thread drift:
[quote="tb":24qn1m99]Tough. Conversations develop. It's their nature.[/quote:24qn1m99]
Little Pepe went to nursery school one day wearing his Widnes hat. His teacher asked him why he was a Widnes fan. He said, “Because my parents are.” His teacher said, “That’s not good. What would you do if your parents were drug dealers and hookers?” He replied, “Well then I would be a Warrington fan.”
[i:24qn1m99]There's a Wooly over there, baggy kecks and feathered hair
with a 3 star jumper half way up his back, that’s a fecking Wooly back![/i:24qn1m99]

| This is shocking, just shocking. What an awful thing to happen to such a talented lad.

| Massive shame, I wouldn't wish such a situation on anyone, regardless of how I may have felt about him when he was playing. If there's a silence at Old Trafford for him, I sincerely hope all the Saints supporters can be respectful.
Thoughts go out to his family.

| How sad. He was a talented player and a great servant to Wigan. Not one of my favourites but I could appreciate him as a player. Made a mistake and has suffered for it. Deepest condolences to all his family and friends. RIP.

Rugby League is a sport that desperately needs to expand its geographical supporter base and its player base. This imperative means that all other requirements are secondary until this is done.
All power in the game should be with governing bodies, especially international governing bodies.
Without these actions we will remain a minor sport internationally and nationally.: |
|
| RIP Terry
Made his mistakes, but who hasn't?
Hope the RFL go for a minute's applause to avoid the prospect of late-comers, drunks or just idiots breaking the silence

simpsons/simp048.gif I have only been wrong once and thats because I thought I was wrong but I was wrong I was right!
Petty authoritarians aren’t man enough to challenge the actions of a person face to face; instead they incite a forum of rumour, innuendo and half truths, and impose rude sanctions to discourage those who dare question fairness.

| Very, very sad.
Condolences to his family and loved ones.
RIP Terry.
Our sportmen and women are sometimes put under tremendous pressure and times like this just put sport and life in perspective.

That was one of my first thoughts after the shock at the news. It's a recipe for disaster, a player who Saints hated and who hated Saints. He repeatedly tried to hurt Saints players no matter who he was playing for and his on and off field actions were horrible at times. BUT for all the pantomime villainy no one wants to see a person die like this. It's horrible news. I just fear for the final, there will be people who have drunk all day going to the game and given the opposition I just hope our fans can conduct themselves properly at a Grand Final for once.

| There should be a minutes applause and if not it should be actively turned into one by those in attendance.
Appreciation in this way would be best for what he has given to rugby league and also avoid giving the ed up, abusive sorts the stage to spoil any minutes silence. I'm not having a go at those that get drunk, I have a few at the game, some would say too many but I would never think of booing or abusing a players memory at a minutes silence.
