what about when senior nearly took joel tompkins head off at headingley. If you call that kicking out that joel did you seriously must be naive people if it connected it wont have hurt a 5 year old he was freeing his leg and it was being held at one point and he did get a bit frustrated, He hardly tried kick his head off

What blinkers? I didn't mention J. Tomkins at all. Sounds like you are suggesting tackling a player off the ball is not cheating (it is btw).

But since you've brought up J. Tomkins, yes that was silly and reckless and I wouldn't have complained had he bee banned for it; however the disciplinary panel deemed a warning was sufficient. Just like they did for senir when he kicked J. Tomkins in the face in the CC; something most people on here have forgotten.

As for 'the other weasel' well, where to start? The fact you have briers who goes down like a sack of spuds every time he thinks there's a penalty in the offing, or the fact that clamping isn't illegal? Or that the leeds players should have moved away regardless (they make no attempt to)? Or that they shouldn't have put their hand in, in the first place. Oh and I doubt any one noticed but KR did exactly the same thing to Wigan players at least twice tonight, the difference being the Wigan players got up and pulled away.

Clarky could don a shirt for most of the losers team fans that have commented on this thread and will still have been the greatest player to wear their teams shirt.

Personally I wouldn’t change Phil Clarke for the world. Yeah his love of Wigan does overflow at times, but doesn’t the love of anything do that?

There’s been some groups created on Facebook tonight asking good riddance of Phil Clarke that I clearly find offensive. Groups like ‘Get the Phil Clarke off Sky Sports’ are certainly not on.

Whatever the rights and wrongs of what McGuire did, the notion that his injury is some sort of divine intervention by "the Rugby Gods" is in extremely bad taste, particularly coming from an ex professional.

What were "the Rugby Gods" unhappy about when they gave him a broken neck?

What if Carmont had been injured during that tackle? What Danny did was cheating, he has paid for his error of jugement along with the rest of his team because his injury disadvantages Leeds much more than the advantage of a week off.

He has no influence over the outcome of any game. He's a commentator, he commented, what's the beef?

I always though cheating was akin to Busting the salary cap when you were in grave danger of be relegated.
