not making any predictions, yet, but going on teams as they look now
bradford- starting to look a decent side again,get orford in and they could be top 5, backs maybe their weak link
hull fc-we've made some good signings and offloaded dead wood, if the team gels quickly we should make the 8
hudds-signing of gilmour is great buisness, drew re-signing
leeds-always lookstrong even when they don't sign many, eastwood will add to that
teams that look weaker

8. Huddersfield - It will be difficult to repeat the brilliance of last year but they'll scrape the eight.
9. Hull KR - Again a great season last year and will be a difficult to beat but apart from Dobson I don't see where the quality is going to come from.
10. Castleford - Not really much difference in the side but other teams have improved whereas they haven't
11. Wakefield - It's a very different team this year and they've replaced some dead wood with quality but I can't see them making the eight.
12. Harlequins - Very average team by the looks of things.
13. Celtic - Hoping for a better season for them this year but can't see them doing better than 13th.
14. Salford - They've lost most of their good players and replaced them with not much really.
WCC - Melbourne by 10.
Challenge Cup - Leeds Bradford final.. Leeds by 14
GF - Leeds Warrington - Leeds by 8'"
Hudds look to have a stronger team next year so i cant see them finnishing out of the top 5. |

I don't think Celtic will finish anywhere else once again but i think they'll win more this season. Leeds have improved their squad again and with Eastwood and Lauitiiti in the team we won't be stopped in Super League. Bradford will be much improved now they have Orford in their team they will pose a greater threat. Overall I believe the standings will shape up similar to the final standings of last year.

It will be interesting to see how bulls do this season, they've brought in a few aussies, will they hit the ground running or take a while to settle in? will the injury prone players they have signed get a good run of games, can orford match his 2008 form? i reckon bulls could be anywhere between 5th and 10th depending on the answers to these questions.

A few clubs are in the same boat and will have to answer those same questions. |

Whilst agree i with that upto a point, nowhere more so than bradford, they have lost there best forward, changed both there halfs (if the deacon to wigan rumours are true, which given the orford part coming true seems likely) changed there starting hooker, brought in more overseas signings than anyone else (i think) and bought a number of playes that have been injury prone in the past. Plenty could right for bulls next year or plenty could go wrong. |

5th to 10th will be very tight with those clubs in just about any order depending on injuries.
Wigan will be the main threat to Leeds. Saints will be going through a transition but should do well enough for 3rd at least. Warrington should improve under Smith but it'll take time for those players to gel and Catalans should have a much better year.
