| It is a pity the RFL doesnt have the money to build a 50,000 stadium in Leeds for its major matches. It could then rent it to Leeds United, who are desperate for a new ground, and it would be a great revenue earner in the long run.

| Very cramped stadium, but then i've been before so knew what to expect. Aside from the Mexican Wave idiots another group who got on my nerves are the people who chose to take their seat 5 mins after kick off, leave 5 mins before half time and then come back to their seats 10 mins into the second period, disrupting the pople on their row and the people behind who temporarly unable to see.

| Elland Road is a dump. Apart from the East Stand it wants pulling down and is the worst venue of the four Englang matches this year. I watched GB play at the City of Manchester stadium a few years ago and that would be my first choice.

Not quite big enough imo.
If Hull City get their way (unlikely now due to their financial position) and the KC gets extended to 40,000 then that would be a good choice. Only problem is that it's not very central.

| Elland Road is a dump. It looks dark and shabby and part its sell-by date on TV, the seats are the smallest I've ever experienced at a ground, as my gf kept reminding me there aren't enough loos for the girls, and there's not a lot in the immediate area. The only thing in its favour was the number of food & drink outlets and they were well staffed.
And it's always proved terrible for British RL in general. Several Ashes series, the 2004 Tri-Nations, the 2009 Four-Nations, rubbish.
Eastlands for me. Great stadium, just outside the city centre (walkable), good facilities, great atmosphere.
Please, never play international RL at Elland Road again. It's e. I'd sooner we had a full Reebok, Galpharm, DW Stadium (ok, it has a low capacity), or even an Eastlands with a few empty rows.

| Other than the limited legroom, its a fine stadium - the views from east and west are superb and the atmosphere that can be generated in the North stand is outstanding. Plus its in heartland of RL territory - a good choice to hold these sorts of competitions.

| I'd have preferred them to hold it at a smaller stadium than at Elland Road. The seating is terrible there with little leg room which is why I didn't attend yesterday. I'd have gone if the game had been at Hull, Huddersfield or Eastlands but not Elland Road. It was a state of the art stadium at one point, unfortunately that point was forty years ago. Simply not good enough for top class sport.

| It's not the best ground, and the pillars do get in the way a bit if you are behind them. Other than that, I didn't find it too bad - I'm over 6 foot and didn't have any trouble with leg-room?
I was in the South-East stand, and the Mexican wave thing was being started by a group of school kids. To be honest they were only enjoying themselves, which is what it's all about? Not to everyone's taste, but each to his own?
...lucky you weren't 6 rows directly in front of the drummer, like I was...

| Elland Road is dated. The only modern stand is the East Stand.
As for the mexican waves, as stated by other posters it is a sad day in our games history when we see numpties doing this. You expect this is a boring England football friendly but not in our game.

| I think different parts of the ground have different ammounts of legroom.
As i posted earlier i was in the back row of the east stand and had no leg room at all & stood through all the match.
However as most of the east stand emptied prior to the trophy presentation
i wondered down the stand close to where the australian supporters were,
sat down & hey,presto...just had enough leg room

| I went a few years back for a Man Utd game and went last night. On both occasions I've thought it's a dump.
Traffic was terrible with them having traffic lights everywhere, and we had set off early from Warrington. The car parks are dangerous with terrible surfaces and bad lighting.
The seats look like they're put on top of old terracing so there are big steps behind you. And the seats are so close together.

| International RL needs a home IMO to play all the big matches, and it has to be in Leeds as it is central in RL terms and has the most RL fans in that area. A deal with Leeds United would be great to build a ground.
Murrayfield
Twickers
Millienium stadium
Stade de France
Aviva stadium
This just puts RU so far ahead of RL at international level!
We need a home to build the sport from. RU is built on international rugby which stems from twickenham.

| Dump of a ground, should never play there again. Got to be Eastlands for such showpiece occasions in future.
