| Thought he was one of our best players to be honest, bettered only by Burgess; awesome performance from big Eorl.

If you are not part of the solution then you are more likely part of the problem...: |
|
| Crabtree was excellent today and really deserves a place next week. Agree about carvell joining him as well.

Dwarfs, Gnomes, Halflings/GNOME2.JPG The new young dynasty of super saints is coming to a ground near you.
Welsby-Dodd-Simms-Eaves-Rizzelli, not Eastmond...the future is coming.:Dwarfs, Gnomes, Halflings/GNOME2.JPG |

| Must admit I was one of his biggest doubters, he showed up well today. Like to see him go in with a bit more agression, thought his offloading was superb.
He will certainly be on the team sheet next week.

45465_1384791340.jpg And last but not least, to all those people who wrote this team off.
To all those people who critisized this team...tonight's for you.

You're having a laugh (I hope). Unless you're Carvell's Granny, there is no excuse for even thinking this. Ok then, while we're at it, how about Mauri Fasawotshisname at Saints. Yeah, forget Graham, Crabtree and Morley. Stick those two in the front row.

The BBC went on about Tomkins and Burgess, I think that Tomkins deserved the plaudits, but for me Crabtree was a revelation (I must admit I shuddered when I saw him on the team-sheet) but Eastmond was also key to the second half.
Smith has to go with Eastmond in the centres and Smith on the wing, stick with Tomkins and Maguire in the halves.
As to the forwards, Crabtree and Graham stood out as props, Ellis and Burgess were the pick of the second row. Damn did Morely and Peacock have a quiet game. I also think Roby needs a hooker on the bench to interchange with - starting with Eastmond will solve that.

| thought big eorl was superb today along with burgess and sinfield, for me its about time the 2 old plodders in morley and peacock called it a day at this level, what crabtree and burgess added were mobility and great offloads in eorls case i forone never doubted eorls ability to step upto this level.

| Thought Eorl had a big game today, he offers that bit more than other English forwards. A great offload and the tying up of several defenders. Thought Ellis was the pick of the forwards, especially when he was operating out wide on the right hand side. As for Burgess great in patches and a real handfull. Just needs to cut down on the errors and silly penalties. There is hope for next week ?

| I hardly get to watch SL and had never seen Crabtree play before.
Whilst everyone was going on about Burgess, who appears to have knocked on about 4-5 times in the last two games, I thought it was Crabtree of the two who made more of an impact when they both came on together. Yes Burgess had some big hits, yes he scored a try from 6 out, but Crabtree would have got my vote for consistency and penetration (ooeer).
And that kid who went on at right centre, eastmond? He gave some spark in attack late on, defence would be a concern mind.
