| Denan Kemp's put his hand up for fullback next season.
As for Lockyer, he really is showing the signs of age IMO. He's lost a lot of the danger he used to have with the ball - his pace and confidence in running have been way down this year. Maybe he'll come back stronger next year, but he hasn't had a proper off-season for years now and the extra workoload at stand off has also taken the edge off.
I really hope he just plays out his career with the Broncos and retires as a one-club player. If he went to England in another year or so I suspect he'd look a very pale shadow of his former self and I'd be sad if he goes over just for a last few quid.

I forgot Kemp had gone back to the Broncos, he had a tough time at the Warriors but then again the Warriors had a tough season, Cleary changed the backs nearly every week. Hopefully he finds the form he had at the Broncos in 08.

| I hope they have more success replacing him than they had replacing their wingers who cleared off to RU!

| The two wingers they have now are great!
The Broncos problem wasn't the fact they had no one to replace Tuqiri or Sailor. It was their lack of trust in their youngsters and using players out of position to try and get by rather than developing wingers that hurt them.

| lockyer could still play SL next time if he wants too
people that say he has slowed up mustve been watching a different guy to me
against us at wollongong he destroyed us. he was involved in every play on different sides of the field and very dangerous.
a truly brilliant player and still one of the top NRL players today

Locky is my all-time favourite player, and I'd hate to see him come over here and play for anyone other than Saints. To see him in a Wigan or a Leeds shirt would kill me.'"
Jeez! The way Leon Price keeps letting Stains down (particularly in the big games), they need Locky like a fish needs water.

| Play out his career with the Broncos, then straight onto the coaching staff.
I wonder if Bennett will come knocking when he decides to hang his boots up?

| Personally I think Lockyer will play on for Broncos until he feels he is not good enough to continue in the NRL then, like a number of Aussies (Menzies) he will go make a few quid in the easier competition SL,for a couple of seasons just to give the poms some idea of what they have missed over the last decade or more.

Well if he has the same impact as Menzies then it will be a complete waste of money - not sure we have missed anything in Menzies - his defence is an embarrassment for a professional player

You watched much SL this season?
He's easily been in the top 10 back rowers this season, okay his defence isn't the best, but he's one of the most creative second rowers in the league.
