Loads of room in the Southstand. The Carnegie looked half empty/full and so did the North. Also the Western Terrace wasnt even full. I guessed around 13k but would be happy with 11k with what looked about 2-2.5k from East Hull.

what is the story with the poor play-off crowds anyway. i just looked at last years figures and saints v leeds at knowsley got 11,407. granted the wigan v bradford game got moved to widnes last year, but the crowds seem low in general. should the RFL be concerned about this?

Granted the East stand seats looked only about half full as did the North stand but i would say at least 13.

according to a director at one club, apparently all play-off receipts go into an RFL pot and clubs don't make a penny. Seems very odd to me, but might explain why last night's attendance seemed 'artificially' low.
