Agree... the worst thing you can see on a field, had the misfortune of being close to a guy that did the same... the sound, the atmosphere afterwards were horrendous.

As a player you want to hurt your opposition, so that they don't want to get up, but seeing them not get up due to something like that is awful, so also thoughts to Keef who must be going through the emotional wringer too.

Seen a few like that including David Buust playing for Coventry against United at Old Trafford. Worst I ever saw was Steve O'Neil playing for Widnes against Wigan at Central Park in 1984 or 1985. The late Steve Rodgers broke his leg in the same game but the O'Neil one was horrific. Granada showed the replay the following day and it was obvious his leg had broken in about 3 places and was flopping around everywhere from the middle of the upper leg down.

It was obvious Walker was in trouble as soon as you saw the sock sticking out. I very much doubt that was the shin pad and once Stevo realised what he was looking at you could here the shock in his voice.

Hopefully Walker will be all right. He's obviously had his problems in the past but I wouldn't wish a broken leg on any sportsman. How he managed to applaud the Leeds fans God only knows.

Just watched it again, and in the slow motion you actually saw Chev's leg snap as Senior's knee hit the back of it. AWFUL!!!

Recoveirng from a broken leg I did myself last weekend and the pain when it happened knocked me out. All the best to Chev in his recovery and the operation he will probably have.

As a Leeds fan but rugby league fan first and foremost, I would like to send my regards to Chev and his famiy.

Just got back from the match and seen it on Sky. I hope to see Chev back on the field as soon as possible.
