Is O'Loughling playing?'"
Yes, Noble gave him specific instructions to concentrate on moaning to the ref.

| Shame, was hoping for a close game! Wigan have been terrible, the handling errors and defence have been unforgivable. Wire (pains me to say it) are playing well though.

| Real shame. Perfect conditions, good crowd on BBC1. Would have been good to have had a close contest. With a real fired up game and crowd in the last few minutes.
Saying that, 4 scores are not beyond the abality of Wigan.

| Wire are playing well, but Palea'aesina was made a fool of.

| Wigan have absolutely no answer to Wire's pack, and off the back of that Monaghan is running the game. Can't see any way back for Wigan TBH.

| Have to credit Wire though, their gameplan has been excellent.
The speed around the ruck has hammered Wigan.
Smith must have said when Palea'aesina comes on, just run at him all day, he cant move.
Excellent gameplan and tactics from Wire.

A strong kicking performance.

Very true, but cant see it today. The Wire pack have made Wigan look terrible and I think I can already hear the rumble of Wigan footsteps...

That and respecting possession much better might give them an outside chance. They can't live with Wire's forwards so they're going to have to figure out a way to go around them.
Thing is that Smith has put together an excellent game plan and his players have executed it perfectly. You have to feel that unless they start making some mistakes they'll close this game out comfortably.

| Not as close a first half as I'd expected but it's still entertaining to see a high quality performance and stong game plan from Wire (because they're beating Wigan ). Completely removed that lump of lard from the game, and Morley's hit on Fielden was a beauty. Some very good tried from Wire, King's second created by Monaghan was a beauty.

That's what I was thinking. I'm sure Ganson blew for the knock on well before he went over - everyone else had stopped.
