| Diskin made a bad call, as someone said, he had made the decision to take clarke before the play the ball, only due to the fact he had to choose one as he was left exposed.
It was laughable we got away with it though!
Thought Lee Smith genuinely challenged for the ball in the Webb 'no try' and JJB did seem to run into the defender for Burrow break but believe the defender would have been nowhere near him anyway.
Did the sky team also review a Leeds play from around the 5th minute somewhere mid way during the 1sthalf? It was on the screen.
Things like that were just 'phase balls' when i was taught to play as a kid.
It is getting a bit daft.

He didn't HTH...
He didn't his eyes were clearly fixed on the ball and at most was trying to use the defender as leverage while challenging HTH...

| Quote: cadoo "Do you not think that the obstruction rule has gone a bit daft now?
There was nothing wrong at all with that Warrington try before - Matt Diskin just made a bad call.
Neither was there anything wrong with the Leeds try as Lee Smith had his eyes on the ball.
It has now become ridiculous IMO. Dummy runners are only doing their job. They fool the defense and yet when they do we rule the try out for obstruction just because the defender has made a bad call?
I admit the game is consistent with it which is what many ask for but I still think we need to apply common sense in certain situations and only if a player is blatantly obstructing the player should we rule a try out.
It seems to me we're just looking at reasons to rule out a try.'"
So when the ball is kicked in the air, as long as the player is looking at the ball, he can shove the player out the way? Just because hes not looking at the man doesn't mean he can push him out the way and doesn't no were he is. That was the correct decision.

Had Calrke not taken an (albeit slight) step to the right, the try stands.'"
You are the sort of person they employ as a video ref clearly! They should have recent former players in the video ref box, or just bin them completely. Clarke went towards the corner flag, without touching anyone, and Diskin followed him and tackled him. How is this an obstruction when the defender chooses to follow the attacker in a direction away from the ball? Please explain..?

No, the defender CHOSE to follow the attacker and tackled him without the ball, not the other way round, its such a simple concept!. This is the best example of a dummy run you'll see, but people without a bloody clue can't see it.
