None of them, unless there was something we weren't told, were given licences conditional upon completion by a specified date.

The consequences of not being in a new stadium by 2011? We've had the answer to that for over 12 months already. It will cost the clubs a maximum of 2 points on their application, more likely 1 in the case of Wakey & Cas as both could almost certainly get their current stadiums up to 12k capacity if needed.

Not having a 'premier competition' quality stadium does not prevent an application and is no more of a detriment than not averaging 10k, not turning over £4million (or whatever the figure was)etc..

I don't think Wakefield stand a chance of getting their's done, and Salford's doesn't seem to be progressing at all. They are also the two weakest applications from the heartlands on most fronts.

I think Wakey's best chance is relocation to Barnsley, personally.
